Twisted Fork Bruch Company -- French Toast Fondue
On a beautiful day, we headed to the Twisted Fork Brunch Company in Bellmore. The first thing we noticed was the large footprint of the restaurant. It was spacious with a lot of room between the tables and booths. That makes the meal so much more enjoyable. As an aside, we were able to put our name on the wait list before driving over to the Twisted Fork so our table was ready when we arrive. Great Idea and major kudos to them
Once we started digging into the menu, we had the realization that every item had a twist which is when the light bulb went off on why they choose Twisted Fork as their name. We really felt proud at that time.

We decided to treat ourselves so we started with the French Toast Fondue and then we had Creme Brulee French Toast and the Blueberry Lemon Pancake Stack.
The French Toast Fondue was French toast bites with syrup and caramel as dipping sauces. This was absolute the best. I now know why everyone orders it. As to the French Toast, it had a really good taste but the pancakes were much better and the star of the show. They came out steaming hot which gets them some real brownie points. They tasted great as well. The only downside was that one side of the pancakes was the golden brown and the other looked more on the raw side. That was easily covered with syrup.
We had a really great meal and were totally full at the end. A total credit to the Twisted Fork folks. My recommendation for next time is to come with a larger party since there are a bunch of other items we wished we could order like Lemon Ricotta Donuts, the Chicken n Waffle Sliders and the Chocolate Decadence. It gives me the great opportunity to head to the south shore again!
