Pantano's Neighborhood Eatery -- A Poor Relative

I decided to try the Pantano’s Neighborhood Eatery in Plainview thinking that it was an offshoot of Pantano’s Gourmet. I learned that there is indeed a relationship between these two Pantano’s but they are run separately. I did conclude that was a real difference between the two.

I ordered the Nonna Rosa Panini which is grilled chicken, roasted peppers and pesto.

The sandwich was good but not to the level of Pantano’s Gourmet. I know I would hate to be the second child in a family and that is exactly how Pantano’s Neighborhood Eatery is. They serve good food but a step down from the real star.
