Cooperhill In Williston Park Consistently Delivers!

We were revisiting one of our favorite restaurants in Williston Park, Copperhill. As you drive up on Hillside Avenue, you pull into the driveway of a beautifully restored 125-year-old Victorian farmhouse. The only cooler place is the McDonalds in New Hyde Park in the old Denton House. Here at Copperhill, they did a great job restoring the farmhouse while embracing a modern aesthetic. The only drawback to the space is the sound can bounce off all of the walls making it difficult to speak with other people at your table.
The menu is a classic American food while incorporating a bunch of other ethnic cuisines. We started with the bread which was so fresh, light and tasty. Note to myself, I need to stop eating the bread so I can really enjoy the later food options!

We started with the Short Rib Taquitos and Ramen Cacio E Pepe. My absolute favorite at Copperhill is the Ramen dish. Normally Cacio E Pepe can be a real heavy dish, but by adding Ramen as the base, it really lightens it up. The Taquitos were surprisingly good. So far we have had blended Italian and Mexican cuisine.

We then had the Seared Scallops and the Pappardelle (Bolognese). As a side note, they list the Pappardelle as fresh. It is strange since I would expect everything to be fresh. Am I to take away that of the entrees, only the Pappardelle was fresh and nothing else? A good questions to ponder?

By the entrée time, I really enjoyed my Bad See Margarita which has Jalapeno infused tequila. I have to note that it tasted great.

Both of our entrees were prepared perfectly. They sauces complimented each dish as it should.
We absolutely love Copperhill. The beautiful thing is that every time we eat there, they consistently deliver an amazing experience.
