Baci & Abbracci is an Underrated Italian Restaurant in Williamsburg

If you're searching for an Italian culinary gem in Williamsburg, look no further than Baci & Abbracci. We found this restaurant to be underrated by most reviewers. Our friends recommended that we try this charming restaurant. It is a cozy restaurant which has a backroom that feels like a garden. A great place to sit if the weather cooperates. This being New York in June, that is a big question mark.
The waitstaff is friendly and good at what they do. They asked us about water and drinks almost as soon as we sat down. And they asked if we wanted another drink once we finished our first ones. They were scoring big time on the attention to detail.
Baci & Abbracci serves traditional Neapolitan fare. We started with a Margherita Pizza and Meatballs. They really nailed the dough, sauce and cheese from with wood-fired ovens. We just loved it. On the meatball, it was just a great combination along with the pizza.

When it was time for our entrees, we went simple. We had the Paccheri and Eggplant Parmigiana. For those of you who do not know, Paccheri is a wide rigatoni noodle served with burrata, eggplant and fresh tomato sauce. These dishes were amazing. The Eggplant Parm was the highlight. It was so light and tasty.

For dessert, we had the Focaccia with Nutella. This was definitely overkill since we were stuff from all the food we had eaten beforehand. But my wife is a nut for anything chocolate or chocolate like (since Nutella is not really chocolate). This was a fabulous way to end our meal.

We highly recommend Baci & Abbracci it for anyone looking for a great dining experience which is backed up by good food in Williamsburg, Brooklyn!
