We returned to Rialto Restaurant in Carle Place. Rialto has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is throwback to how Italian Restaurants used to be. With all the recent closures of restaurants, I am glad that Rialto remains. You feel the charm and vibe as soon as you walk in.
The menu at Rialto features a wide array of Italian dishes, with a strong emphasis on fresh seafood and, notably, homemade pasta. We started with their Homemade Ravioli in fresh marinara sauce. Definitely a menu and restaurant highlight. The ravioli was light and tasty that complimented with the marinara sauce.

For entrees, we had a Veal Marsala and Chicken Parmigiana. After eating the Chicken Parm last time, how could I not try it again to see if it was as good as last time. As an FYI, it is not listed on the menu but they will gladly prepare it for you. I am happy to say that the Chicken Parm as excellent. They nailed the cooking of the chicken and the blending of the cheese and the sauce. The Chicken Parm was definitely the winner dish from our meal.

The service at Rialto is attentive, knowledgeable and efficient.
The thing that I cannot understand is that Rialto should be much busier than it is. Many other Italian restaurants that serve inferior food are much more crowded than it is. The vibe is good. Something is missing to make it a really popular place. I just do not know what it could be. I bet the regulars are happy the way it is. I know I had a great meal and look forward to my next meal there.
