The Union -- A Success Where Many Have Failed Before

We headed over to the Union in Eisenhower Park. Our expectations were low since so many restaurants have tried to succeed in this location but failed. The entrance was bright and dining room was casual but elegant (which is hard to believe).

Our experience was positive with only a couple of miscues. We recommend this restaurant for both experience and quality of the food. We ended up ordering mostly appetizers like the Wagyu Meatballs, Pizza, Lobster Rolls, Chicken Caesar, Tuna Sashimi and Greek Salad with Chicken.

The Good: The Wagyu Meatballs were delicious. The Best thing we ordered. The Lobster Roll was tasty but the bread was a little stale. The salad was also a highlight. We added chicken and could not believe how much they actually put on the salad.

The Bad: Not too much to hate here. The pizza was just ok. Our issue with it was they added to much cheese so the pizza was off balance. As stated before, the pizza had too much cheese.

Our only real issue is that we had to ask for bread which is a minor issue with us. We believe that they should offer as opposed to us bugging them for it.

Our waitress was a pleasure. She was very friendly on a crazy night. We have to give her props for a job well done.

Our final conclusion is that the Union is a good restaurant whose view in the summer will only be better than the spring. I intend to come back to sit outside for both drinks and dinner.
