The Warren Delray

We always love to going The Warren in Delray. The only drawback for me was that it was a scene with a whole lot of hustle and bustle. It reached a point where you could not hear anyone at your table whether you were inside or outside.

We decided to try The Warren again. This time, it was much more mellow, granted it was a Sunday night. With the reduced number of patrons, The Warren was a pleasure. The ambiance was incredible as usual. And the food was spectacular.

We started with a Caesar Salad, the Grilled Octopus, Korean Fried Chicken and the Steak Tips. Of course, we ordered the Bread Service. While I typically rail against paying for bread when it used to be free, they served a whole loaf of bread. It was both warm and tasty. I have to say the bread was worth the $11 we paid.

As to the appetizers, we like the Caesar Salad but were not fans of the wedge since it requires more work and the dressing is not uniformly mixed in then. As to the Octopus, that was a clear winner but it is hard to beat the Korean Fried Chicken. They were both fresh and tasty.

The Steak Tips were a close second. We absolutely loved the onion rings and mashed potatoes that came with them. As to the steak, it was perfectly cooked.

We were so full that we only ordered the Seafood Bolognese. It was very tasty with the Lobster Sauce but I think that we would have preferred it with a tomato sauce. While it was good, it tasted a little fishy.

All in all, great food in a great restaurant. Definitely, a place to go out to and return.
