We ate at Terrapin Restaurant in Rhinebeck. It was a treat from the start based upon I being located in a converted church. We sat in the bistro section for lunch, enjoying an atmosphere that felt like a bright, covered patio.
The highlight of the meal was the duck quesadilla—easily the most flavor-packed quesadilla I’ve enjoyed in years. Though there was a minor mix-up regarding the portion size, the server handled it effortlessly when settling the check.
For the main course, I took advantage of their build-your-own sandwich option and went with chicken and pesto; the ingredients were remarkably fresh and well-balanced.
Terrapin turned a quick lunch into an enjoyable and memorable experience. Definitely thinking of coming back for dinner
