Snaps American Bistro -- Good Local Food Joint / Eatery

We headed down to the South Shore to try Snaps American Bistro in Wantagh. We had the Crispy Chicken Teriyaki Wontons, the Southwest Chipotle Chicken Empanada, Grilled Pork Chop and the Shepard Pie.

The Wonton was the best followed up by the chicken empanadas. The shepard’s pie was tasty but too much mashed potato for my preference. The ambience was casual. The restaurant is all about the food. Moderately priced with good food. Highly recommend it.
