Nestled in the charming village of Cold Spring Harbor, Sandbar isn't your typical beach bar. Sandbar has a sophisticated ambiance that blends nautical elements with a sleek, modern aesthetic. 

Its menu is a blend of both land and sea.  You need to start the meal with the chickpea fries.  They do them right.

We followed up with the duck tacos, chopped salad and the wagyu pigs in the blanket.  The duck tacos was the clear winner with the pigs in the blanket being a minor disappointment

For the main course, we only had room for the mahi mahi fish tacos and the seared scallops.  The scallops did not disappoint.

Sandbar Cold Spring Harbor offers a delightful combination of upscale dining and coastal charm. The atmosphere is a welcoming environment but the food is the star of the show.  Definitely a place to visit even if it is a trek.
