Roast Sandwich Shop -- Worthy of a Visit for Artisanal Sandwiches

We headed over to the Roast Sandwich shop in Syosset after hearing that it was an artisanal sandwich shop. First, I do not know what they mean by artisanal sandwich shop and second, how can they produce a sandwich that is both tasty and appetizing to folks like me I understand that they need to play up to the high brow crowd in Syosset and Woodbury but would their food related to me.

My verdict. Roast Sandwich is a great option for a casual and satisfying sandwich. 

I went with the you pick two (which I know I borrowed from Panera) consisting of the loaded potato soup and half grilled chicken pesto sandwich. 

The soup was too thick and heavy. I would pass on that going forward. The sandwich however, more than made up for the poor soup. The chicken was fresh and tasty. I was just disappointed that I could not try any more sandwiches. I will go back and gorge myself on other options.
