Press 195 Plainview -- Great Panini's Almost to the Level of La Bottega

A whole lot of new restaurants are opening up on Long Island. This week, we tried Press 195 in Plainview. The updated the decor of the prior restaurant and now it clean, fresh and modern. The booths are really comfortable.
We went for lunch and split a chicken panini and a Mediterranean salad with a chicken souvlaki stick. Both were excellent and solid portion sizes. They were served fresh from the oven with service being on top of things. With this being a new restaurant, we were impressed with how they had their act together.
The restaurant was crowded when we went at 2:00. By the time we were paying our bill, a new crop of people were coming. This had all the hallmarks of a successful restaurant and we will them the best.
Our conclusion is that Press 195 deserves all the accolades that are being reaped on them. They serve great lunch food in a comfortable atmosphere and the waitstaff are a pleasure.
