Olivio at Roosevelt Field Mall: A Casual Oasis But Avoid the Food
We were at Roosevelt Field Mall shopping and decided to have lunch. My wife did not want to eat the food court because it was too loud. We ate at Olivio. Lesson learned, the food would have been better at the food court
Olivio portrays itself as a Mediterranean restaurant which means Italian and Greek food. Unfortunately, they do not do either concept well. The best thing about this restaurant was the casual atmosphere. On the food front, we ordered a gyro and chicken kufta kebab. The gyro was tasteless and the tahini dressing was like elementary school paste.
Conclusion: A casual restaurant in a mall that should be avoided. I can not think of many redeeming qualities.
