Missing My Favorite These Foods!

I was in Costco looking to buy their Chocolate Frosted Cupcakes and they did not have any. I was told that they were discontinued for the time being. I so hate it when companies stop making items that I really like. I started reminiscing about all of the food items that I used to love and now are gone. I feel like a should create something like Ben & Jerry Flavor Graveyard. I will work on that. In the meantime, here are some foods that I miss:

  • Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt — It had the rich flavor of Ben & Jerry’s but also had less fat. So in the end, you did not feel as guilty.

  • Snack Factory Sesame Flavored Pretzel Crips — This flavor was a clean one but had more flavor than the original. While most people like the everything flavor, I always felt it was too strong. I guess I was in the minority on this choice.

  • Hershey’s Low Fat Chocolate Syrup — This syrup was the middle ground between their full flavor and the zero sugar one. Once again, you would feel less guilty pouring your heaps of syrup in milk and on ice cream.

  • Tab Soda — Coca Cola’s original diet soda. While Diet Coke’s flavor is truer than Tab, I have the fond memory of it from my youth. They even started a petition to bring it back. I fear that Diet Coke will be the next on the hit parade in favor of Coke Zero. Can we stop this madness??

  • Jello Pudding Pops —  These nostalgic treats were a staple of childhood summers. The combination of creamy pudding and a frozen shell was a match made in heaven. They could not make the cut.

  • Costco’s Food Court’s Pretzel — Nothing beat getting a soft pretzel after a trip to Costco. The $1.50 Hot Dog is a close second but the pretzel is definitely the way to go. A shame.

  • Kudo Bars — Basically a candy bar disguised as a granola bar. The healthy folks just killed this one!

Let me know if there any snacks or other food items that you miss!!
