I was driving by the Long Island Bagel Cafe in Mineola and decided to stop in to see how their bagels are. I have had so many disappointing bagels that I was really rooting for Long Island Bagel Cafe to deliver. I ordered the standard plain bagel
The bagel had a golden brown finish with the appropriate glaze. The bagel was crunching on the outside with the dough inside being chewy. The bagel also had a great taste to it. The only downside to this bagel is that it was not warm. I went back a few day later in the morning to see how a warm bagel would be and I was unable to get a warm one. Minor downside.

Overall, we would rate Long Island Bagel Cafe in our top tier of bagels on Long Island. No need to compare these bagels to the ones in Florida since we all know that Florida bagels can not hold a candle to ours. We highly recommend Long Island Bagel Cafe bagels. As to their appetizers, they are just mediocre. So stop on by.
