Landmark Diner -- A Classic Diner in Roslyn

We headed over to the Landmark Diner, our local diner, for lunch recently and realized a couple of things. First, it is the only two story diner that I have ever been to and probably is the only one on Long Island. And second, this is as close a classic diner as you can find near us. They start with the impossibly large menu. You typically eat your meal in a booth. They serve coleslaw with your meal and they have cookies up at the cash register.

As to the food, it is exactly as you would remember, good but not the 5 star Michelin. There is no reference to farm to table on the menu. The breakfast and lunch food is always good.

Our favorites are the French toast and the Locust Valley Panini. They even have a big salad on the menu (for those in the know). I do want to know who orders the Roasted Asian Sea Bass. We highly recommend the Landmark Diner

My follow is what is the most unusual thing you or someone you know ordered in a diner?
