La Vie Mediterranean Restaurant in Pompano Beach

We had dinner at La Vie Mediterranean Restaurant in Pompano Beach. I was struck by the colorful interior. It was such a welcoming restaurant look and feel.

We ordered the hummus, chicken kebabs and chicken shawarma.

My only regret in ordering was that we did not have enough people for La Vie’s feast and platters. You needed 4 people and you could get such a great assortment of grilled meats, vegatables and shrimp. We had to settle for ordering our own dishes.

The hummus along with the laffa bread was my favorite part of the meal. The bread was so airy and tasty that I could have eaten it plain but add in the hummus and I was in heaven.

The chicken kebabs and the chicken shawarma were very tasty and grilled just the way I liked it. Unfortunately, there were no leftovers for us to enjoy the next day. We ate everything on our plates. My mother would be proud!!

I would definitely head back. I would try to be there on a Wednesd through Sunday when they have belly dancing. It just adds to the experience.
