La Piazza Westbury -- New Pizza Place Slightly Ahead of Other Pizza Places

We tried La Piazza, a new opened restaurant in Westbury. The pizza was crisp and tasting. My mistake was not ordering the Sicilian slice since it looked much better.

We also ordered the Penne Melenzane, which is a fancy way of saying penne with eggplant in tomato sauce, the Veal Pizzaiola and Linguini Bolognese. All of the dishes were tasty and well prepared. Definitely a step up from our other local pizza places.

La Piazza took over from Mama Theresas with a different menu but the same layout. The credit card bill eve referred to Mama Theresas.

If you are in the neighborhood, definitely worth stopping by.
