We decided to treat ourselves to some ice cream so off we went to Krisch’s Ice Cream in Massapequa. I always love the retro diner look. They really play it up. They had an item that I would have loved when I was younger called the Kitchen Sink, which consists of 10 scoops of ice cream plus a bunch of toppings. It is actually served in a miniature kitchen sink! Since I am now old, I passed on it.

I ended up sharing a two scoop hot fudge sundae with marshmallow topping. We had chocolate chocolate chip and banana ice cream.

I was very excited for it but the ice cream was bland. My wife who has not seen chocolate and fudge she did not like just had two spoonful’s. If that was not an indictment, I do not know what could be. We were so disappointed that we may have to pass on Krisch’s and frequent Dairy Queen instead!
