Il Mulino - a minor disappointment

One of the best parts is the bread baskets and samples. They were very tasty.

After that we had the Caesar Salad which was crisp but bland. We also shared the burrata which was tasty.

For the main course, we shared the chicken parm, veal parm and the fettucine bolognese. The chicken parm was the real disappointment of the meal. Basically, the food was ok but on the bland side. It felt like we were eating in a Florida restaurant for old people. What happened to their legendary food.

While I refuse to give up on the Roslyn location for chicken parm, I have to say, Il Mulino in NYC (downtown location) is not worth the drive or the cost. Recommendation is to skip this restaurant for better Italian food elsewhere.
