Honey Bistro, a New Lunch Restaurant in Glen Head

We headed over to Glen Head for lunch to try Honey Bistro which is located right next to Ernesto’s East Ristorante on Railroad Avenue. It had a welcoming vibe with an interesting menue

We had a Et Tu, Brute, which is a chicken Caesar on a wrap and Spice Spice Baby, which is a spicy beef rice bowl.

Aside from the creative names, which seems passee, we loved our food. The Caesar wrap was served hot and it was very tasty. The spicy beef bowl did not disappoint. Our only regret was that we were so full, we did not try the chocolate chip cookies.

As we were talking with the manager, he let us know that they are open during the evenings when they serve alcoholic beverages. It made us think that Honey Bistro would be a great place to have some drinks before dinner at Ernesto’s or Heirloom Tavern.

Our vote is that this is a major addition to the Glen Head food scene. Definitely worthwhile.
