Delray Beach After Dark: The Warren Whiskey Bar Delivers Electric Vibes & Delicious Bites

Forget the early bird specials! My recent 8 PM reservation at The Warren American Whiskey Kitchen in Delray Beach shattered my expectations of South Florida's late-night scene. While other local spots tend to quiet down by this hour, The Warren was just hitting its stride – and it only got livelier as the night went on. By the time we left around 10 PM, every seat was filled, the bar was buzzing, and the energy was infectious. If you're chasing a vibrant, fun atmosphere in Delray, The Warren absolutely nails it! The electric vibe alone is a fantastic reason to visit.
But here's the delightful surprise: the food at The Warren is every bit as impressive as its atmosphere. It was, simply put, excellent.

We kicked off our culinary journey with the $11 Bread Service. As someone who grew up with complimentary bread, I'm often hesitant to pay for it. However, The Warren's offering of fresh-from-the-oven bread, infused with delicious herbs, was a worthy exception. So much so that I even took the leftovers home! (Consider yourselves warned, future restaurants – I might be eyeing your sweetener next!)

Our appetizers included the Korean Fried Chicken and the Caesar Salad. The Korean Fried Chicken was a near-perfect dish. The flavor was intense, the chicken incredibly tender, and despite my usual avoidance of fried food, this was absolutely worth the indulgence.

The Caesar Salad featured Baby Gem Lettuce served in a bunch, a presentation I typically find a bit challenging as the dressing tends to cling to the outer leaves. While visually appealing, the inner portions of lettuce definitely needed more dressing. A slight tweak to the presentation could elevate this dish.

For our main courses, we savored the Miso Honey Glazed Salmon and the Wagyu French Dip. The Salmon was a standout. While miso glaze is often paired with milder white fish, the chef at The Warren masterfully complemented the richer flavor of the salmon. Hats off to their culinary skill!

The French Dip was also incredibly tasty, featuring perfectly toasted bread and a flavorful au jus for dipping. While a great dish in its own right, the Salmon was undeniably the star of the entrees.
So, the crucial question: would I return to Warren American Whiskey Kitchen in Delray Beach? The answer is an enthusiastic yes! It was a fantastic experience all around. In fact, I was tempted to say "yes and twice on Sunday," but perhaps that would be a bit too much deliciousness for one day!
