Cravings Plainview -- A Deli Not Worth the Trip

We were in Plainview and wanted to try out Cravings Market. When we arrived, the place was entirely empty. We had to wonder if they were closed or open. Not too reassuring.

But since we were already there, we decided to try it. We ordered a chicken pesto sandwich and chicken salad wrap. Pretty basic fare.

They started off heating up my chicken in the microwave and then put it on the grill. Needless to say the chicken was over cooked. As to the chicken salad wrap, there was so much mayonnaise that by the time we took the wrap to the table it had drenched the plate with the excess fluid. We were repulsed.

We ate as quickly as possibly in order to put this meal behind us. Our conclusion is that this deli is not up to the Long Island standards. Maybe this could pass in a suburb of Detroit but it was not going to cut here. We recommend you choose another deli for lunch.
