Chopt -- Fresh Salads with Good Ingredients

We went to the Chopt on Willis Avenue but this review applies to all Chopt’s. We found it to have fresh ingredients that provide a tasty lunch. They build your salad from scratch or from menu favorites.

The Good — Not only do they serve salads in their salad bowls but they also prepare salads for a wrap. This is my favorite choice. Their dressings are varied and tasty. Chopt typically gets the order right since they are making in front of you.

Also, their salads come in different sizes. We found that they serve kiddie size salads which is perfect for my kids. It is an off menu choice but I do love that option and feeling that I am in the know.

The Bad — Chopt no longer chops their salads. The ingredients come in pre chopped sizes. As a result, there has been a slight diminution in the quality of the salads. Also, their choices of beverages is limited so we would like them to expand.

We highly recommend Chopt for their fresh salads. Their ingredients are sourced locally and they are environmentally conscious, which is a big selling points for my kids. My salad choice is the Mexican Caesar!!
