Burt & Max's in Delray

Our friends suggested that we eat at Burt & Max’s in Delray Marketplace. We found it to be casual and the potential for quite a scene at the bar.

We went simple for a change. We started with the cornbread and had burgers for dinner.

The cornbread was a little overdone and still was tasty. I like that it was in a skillet and was a whole pie. The burger on the other had was cooked to perfection. In fact, it was memorable. It was juicy and actually tasted better than it looked. The pickles complimented the burger. I have to say for a simple dish, Burt & Max’s really delivered.

There were a whole bunch of other items on the menu that I am sure were good but they definitely had twists that I was not interested in. I kept it simple and was well rewarded for it. I suggest that if you need simple American cuisine, head over to Burt & Max’s
