For my next stop on the hunt for the best black and white cookie, I decided to try the Bare Naked Bakery in Plainview. I had my doubts since this bakery is gluten free. But we did try it nonetheless.

Needless to say, this Black and White Cookie was not in the same ballpark as Slim’s Bagels. I know it is not a fare comparison since gluten really helps in the taste and texture of a cookie. I almost fee guilty comparing the two.

I did ask a friend whose daughter has Celiac’s Disease (so he buys gluten free products all the time) what he thought of Bare Naked Bakery. His felt that they are good with their bread products like bagels. All other desserts and sweets are not noteworthy. In effect, a mediocre gluten free bakery.

With that said, I will continue my hunt for the best Black and White Cookie.
