Barbara's Bagels Roslyn -- Another Average Bagel Shop

On a recommendation, we headed to Barbara’s Bagels in Roslyn. This time around, I ordered a plain bagel and whitefish on the side. I have to tell you that the whitefish was just plain awful because it was too salty and tasteless. That is a bad combination.

As to the bagel, it had a slight golden sheen and it was sort of crunching and slightly chewy on the inside. The bagel had a nice taste as well.

If we were in Florida, this bagel would rise to the top of the competition. But alas, we are on Long Island. This means that the bagel turns out to be an average bagel. One that you could get from countless other shops. If you are to go to Barbara’s Bagels, just order the bagels and get the spreads elsewhere.
