We stopped by Pantano’s Doz Bagels in Garden City Park for a late breakfast. I was surprised that at 11:00 in the morning that not a table could be had. Most places are deserted between the breakfast and lunch rushes. This is a very good sign that we are going to have a great meal.
I would like to highlight that the muffins and other breakfast items looks delicious. Next time, I will expand my choices!
The bagel was golden brown with just the right amount of glaze. It was crunchy on the outside with a chewy and airy on the dough inside. The taste of the bagel was both sweet and salty. They really nailed the bagel with these attributes
I then paired my bagel with the tuna salad. A major concern for my choice of tuna salad is the amount of mayonnaise that it contains. Fortunately, the tuna salad had the right amount of mayonnaise and seasoning to make it the perfect complement to the bagels.
The staff is friendly and efficient. The bagel shop is clean with a fun atmosphere.
Pantano’s Doz Bagels in Garden City Park delivers on some of the best bagels on Long Island. We highly recommended them!
